Playa Guiones is the perfect wave to learn how to surf with its gentle sand bottom and year round consistency. With its 3 miles of beach and minimal tourism, there is plenty of room to have the waves all to ourselves.

Our surf lessons are unique to Playa Guiones in that each package is custom designed and can be modified to fit your individual desires allowing you to get the most out of your vacation. Our instructors have years of experience teaching children to seniors and every age group in between, as well as offering pointers to more advanced surfers who are looking to excel. Known for being patient, positive and enthusiastic, our instructors guarantee that you will progress in your surfing and love doing it! Watching the smiles on our students faces as they catch their first wave and sharing the stoke for surfing along with the laughter and joy is what motivates us to continue to provide quality instruction at Sol Surf.

We offer an array of individual, double and group/family packages followed by a one on one brain storming critique session on helpful hints to help attain your intention, whether it is to improve your personal style or simply to embody Mother Ocean.

At Sol Surf we offer killer board sales and rentals with great deals so you no longer have to lug those boards around! We offer a wide variety for all of your surfing needs: Fishes (Twin and Quad Fins), Thrusters, Fun Shapes and Long boards as well as all of your surfing accessories from leashes, pads and fins to ding repair kits. We also proudly sell Ocean Tec Hand Shapes EPS Epoxy Surf Boards designed by Andy Seidensticker.
