With an average tidal influx of 8-10 feet depending on the moon, our break actively shifts throughout the day to create perfect surf for all levels. Low to incoming mid-tide is most appealing to advanced surfers producing more thumping, powerful peaks with high walls and racing barrels. Low tide is also a favorite for beginners to intermediate level surfers who can practice their skills on the long, rolling white water. High tide often produces fun and playful faces close to the shore for a short paddle and is also most fun for on-lookers from the beach because the surf is so close. Picking one off from the outside can put you all the way into the beach, landing your toes on our golden Guiones sand.
